Tata Steel Foundation Jyoti Fellowship 2026-27
Financial Assistance For Class VII to XII Students
Short Information
Tata Steel Foundation has invited applications under Jyoti Fellowship 2026-27 for students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. The fellowship aims to provide educational support to economically disadvantaged students studying in Class VII.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must belong to SC or ST Category.
- Minimum 40% Marks in Annual Class VI Examination.
- Candidate must be a permanent resident of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan District.
- Students from Murhu, Rania and Torpa Blocks of Khunti District are also eligible.
- Girls and PWD Candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
Renewal Eligibility (Class VIII to XII)
Students already receiving Jyoti Fellowship can renew their fellowship from Class VIII to XII. For renewal, candidates must secure at least 45% marks in their previous annual examination and submit the renewal form along with attested marksheet by 31 July 2026.
Selection Process
Selection will be done through a Merit Test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on Class VI syllabus.
